Lumma nodded respectfully. “Yes. I’ll handle the handover after the meal.”

Adam hadn’t seen Lumma for a few days. He wanted to talk to her more, but every word Lumma said to him was full of respect, which really made Adam not know how to open the conversation.

Adam thought for a while, and then said, “Your French is not good. If you encounter any trouble at work, remember to tell me.”

“Okay.” Lumma didn’t know much French, but her English was good, and most of the people who worked with her could also speak English, so her work here was going smoothly.
