Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 32

The street lights outside the hotel were on. After leaving the hotel and turning to the right, there was a new commercial street within one or two hundred meters.

There were supermarkets on the street, some selling local specialties and some selling various snacks. At this time, brilliant with electric lights, it was no longer the same old

one as it was one month ago.

Lumma praised Adam from the bottom of her heart, “Mr. Hills, I have to hand it to

you.”

Adam seemed to be pleased by her words. With a faint smile on his brows, he responded, “Oh, tell me about it. What had impressed you?”

Lumma pointed to the surrounding shops, “When we came here, there was nothing here. In just one month, there is such a new commercial street. Not only can you buy all kinds of daily necessities, but you can also enjoy cuisines from all over the world. That’s a lot of work within a single month.”

Adam answered, “I haven’t seen you for a month, but you made an advancement in flattering me.”

Lumma replied, “Isn’t what I said the truth?”

Adam said, “It’s not difficult to build such a commercial street. The difficulty lies in the ongoing operation which can make residents here lift from the poverty and live happy

lives.”

Lumma questioned, “Mr. Hills, what other plans do you have?”

In the past, Lumma felt that Adam was overqualified by staying in the west to build this scenic spot since many more lucrative jobs were waiting for him.

After seeing the changes in the scenic spot in the past month and listening to what Adam said, Lumma realized that Adam was more than a capitalist. He showed cared for the people.

But soon she felt she spoke too soon due to Adam’s words, “Companies now pay attention to reputation. If the Hills Group wants to go higher and make more money, we must handle it properly to the point that even the picky people couldn’t find fault with

it.”

Lumma didn’t reply to him.

Sure enough, the essence of capitalists was still to make money.

But without money, one could barely survive.

It was kind for Adam to spend money on such a large project.
