Lumma immediately put away the phone, “Mr. Hills, are you catching a cold? If you get dizzy and can’t drive. Let me drive.”
Adam was speechless.
He thought, “I didn’t have a cold!”
“I still could drive!”
“I drove so slowly because I wanted you to talk to me more, but you kept chatting with Judy with your mobile phone.”
“I don’t have a cold.” Adam glanced at her, “Why do you like Judy so much?”
Lumma said, “Judy is adorable and has a good personality. I guess everybody likes her.”
Adam even got jealous of her own sister, and he said, “That little girl is very cunning and very good at confusing others with her cute appearance, so don’t be fooled by her.”
How could a brother hurt his sister like this, Lumma had to wonder, “Mr. Hills, is Judy your own sister?”
He said, “She is my sister. We have the same parents. I am not a good guy. Do you think she can be really innocent?”
Hearing what he said, for some reason, Lumma suddenly getting sad, “Mr. Hills, why do you think you are not a good person?”
Adam looked at her, “So, you think I’m a good person?”
Lumma said, “You are a good person in the first place. You are still a very good, very good person.”
Callum once told Adam that when a woman called a man a good card, it proved that the man had no chance.
He didn’t understand it before, but at this moment he understood, “I am a good person in your mind, but I will definitely not be someone you like.”
Without even thinking about it, she blurred out, “I definitely like you.
