The dinner stretched on for a few hours, mirroring the duration of the show. Given the six–hour time difference between Preivlille and their home country, the show concluded before 7 p.m., still considered early in the evening.
Judy raised her hand and proposed, “Adam, it’s still early. Should we do something else?”
Adam turned to Lumina and asked, “Do you want to do something else?”
After a busy day and a long dinner, Lumma was truly tired. When Adam looked at her, she was yawning. “Mr. Hills, I don’t have any plans to do anything else.”
Adam replied, “Then let’s all disperse and go home to rest.”
Lumma stood up, intending to clear the leftovers on the table, but Adam stopped her. “I’ve called someone to clean up. You’re tired, so go rest.”
Cleaning up the dining table would require some time, and Lumma was relieved to know that she didn’t have to do it herself. After saying goodnight to everyone, she made her way back to her room.
As Lumma entered her room, she immediately took a refreshing shower. Once she was done, she settled onto the bed. and grabbed her phone to open the group chat with Harry and Ruby. It was approaching 8 p.m. in Preivlille, while back in their home country, it was nearing 2 a.m. the next day. Lumma noticed that Harry and Ruby hadn’t responded to the messages she had sent in the group, wishing them a Merry Christmas.
In previous years, no matter where they spent Christmas, the three of them would send blessings in the group chat. Could it be that this year, since she wasn’t in their home country, they had forgotten about her?
It’s also possible that they didn’t receive the message Lumma sent. Lumma copied and pasted the message she had just sent and sent it again. [Harry, Ruby, Happy New Year! Let’s make big money together in the new year!]
