Ruby was seething with anger, longing to rip Gianna’s mouth apart. “Gianna, why don’t you take a good look at your own son before judging others? Worm is exceptional, not only in her ability to earn money but also in finding a wonderful husband. It’s something you could never even imagine in a million years.”
“What? Is there someone who can tolerate that bitch?” Gianna was one of the main culprits behind Lumma’s past misfortunes, particularly her own reckless behavior.
Without any remorse, Gianna continued to slander Lumma. “If we recall correctly, when that bitch seduced someone in the past, her boyfriend in Red Pine City promptly dumped her. Does the man she’s involved with now have no knowledge of her past filthy deeds? If he knew, he’d probably kick her out again.”
“How dare you spread rumors!” Ruby couldn’t bear it and was about to slap Glanna across the face, but Ruby’s mother, Vivian, quickly intervened, stepping out of the kitchen. “Ruby, what are you doing?”
Gianna continued with her insolent remarks. “Vivian, I warned you before not to let Ruby hang around with Lumma, but you didn’t believe me. Look at what Lumma has turned Ruby into now. If you allow Ruby to continue associating with that bitch, by next year, Ruby won’t just disown me as her elder but won’t even recognize you, her own mother.“. Vivian had long been fed up with Gianna’s detestable behavior. Vivian had tolerated it before out of respect for Andrew, but now Gianna not only wanted to live in their home but also defamed Ruby.
No mother could tolerate someone speaking ill of her own daughter. Vivian snapped, “Get out!”
Gianna froze for a moment. “What did you say?”
Vivian took a deep breath, summoning her courage and pointing towards the door. “I told you to leave! Get out of my house right now, and never step foot in here again!”
