Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 43

Lumma was so frightened by Adam’s words that she instinctively backed away and quickly distanced herself from him.

She avoided him. Adam’s eyes darkened under the frame of his silver-rimmed glasses, “You can’t get a taxi at night in this villa area. There are guest rooms on the second floor. You can choose one to stay for one night.”

Lumma was speechless.

That’s what he meant. Lumma thought wrongly.

Adam got up

and found a medicine box. He found a green ointment in the box. “After taking a bath, rub this medicine on the wound.”

“Thank you, Mr. Hills!” Lumma took the ointment generously. As for staying overnight, she didn’t think it was necessary.

Even if they lived upstairs and downstairs separately, it was not suitable for a single man and a woman. “I’m afraid I’ll disturb your rest. Hence, I won’t live here.”

Adam, “I sleep on the third floor, and you sleep on the second. The distance is too much to bother me. Are your legs so long that you can kick them up to the ceiling?”

Lumma was a bit speechless.

Adam said again, “It’s two o’clock in the morning. You will come over tomorrow morning. Are you sure you want to go back?”

After being reminded by him, Lumma realized that he would have to come over early tomorrow morning to discuss the details of Adam’s birthday plan with the planning company. Hence, she nodded, “Then I’ll rest now, Mr. Hills. Hope you have a good night.”

This villa had three floors. Adam’s room and study were all on the third floor. The second floor was usually vacant, but Marie often cleaned it.

Two guest rooms were on the second floor, and Lumma chose the inner one.

This room was decorated pink and tidy, and the bedding was new, showing no one had

ever lived there.

There was a new nightgown in the bathroom. All the toiletries Lumma needed were no different from a five-star hotel’s configuration.

On this day, Lumma flew from the snowy place to Red Pine City, where people were still wearing short-sleeves, signed the divorce agreement when she returned, had a minor car accident, and finally became a driver for Adam. Lumma was exhausted. After taking a shower, she fell on the bed and fell asleep within a few minutes.

Lumma’s work and rest schedule had always been regular. Even on weekends, even if she slept so late last night, she still woke up at six in the morning.

Unexpectedly, Adam woke up earlier than her. Lumma opened the curtains and looked down to see the swimming pool in the back garden. Standing by the pool was a man wearing only a pair of swimming trunks.

He had a height of 5.64 feet, eight-pack abs, and a perfect face as if being carved by a craftsman. And he had a pair of unfeeling but charming peach blossom eyes.

For the first time, Lumma knew that Adam’s body wrapped under the white shirt and black trousers was more sexually attractive than his face.
