Chapter 387
She knew Johnson wanted Sarah to marry Charlie because he felt sorry for him. Now that Charlie had forgiven
Sarah, there was no need for Johnson to worry.
Johnson glanced at Sarah. He had known the day Sarah left that Theresa’s two children were Charlie’s. Since
Theresa was now with Charlie, he wouldn’t be in a hurry to call her back. He would let her handle it on her
OWN.
Sarah looked at Johnson. He didn’t say he forgave her, but she could tell that he wasn’t that angry anymore.
“Dad, I’m sorry for giving you trouble. It’s my fault. I’ll make it up to you!”
“Whatever.” Johnson sighed.
Sarah knew he had forgiven her.
Leah breathed a sigh of relief and went upstairs with Sarah. This agreement solved all of Sarah’s problems. Sarah went back to Theresa’s old room. She stayed there while Theresa was away and there was nothing
Theresa could do about it. She threw herself across the bed. “I was so tired. I was hiding like a fugitive.
Thankfully, Charlie didn’t haunt me all the time.” She still couldn’t believe that Charlie had let her go! Leah asked, “Are you sure Charlie really let you go?”
“He signed the agreement. Did he have to lie to me? I posted it on WhatsApp Moments and everyone knows
about it. There’s no chance for him to turn back. I’ll take two days off and look for a job. I’m finally free.” “Where do you want to work?” Leah looked at her curiously. “How about you work at your dad’s company?
Theresa is married to Charlie. Cameron’s Group will be yours.” She only wanted Sarah to inherit everything
from the Cameron family.
Sarah asked Leah, “Would Dad be okay with that?”
“Of course!” Leah said. “Theresa is with Charlie. Your dad is not well and needs someone to run the company.
