Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement novel Chapter 448

Chapter 448

This was a harsh winter. The wind was howling outside, but inside the house, it was extraordinarily warm. Charlie cuddled the woman. Looking at her near himself, he wanted nothing but to keep her by his side all the time and never let anyone bully her.

In the morning, Charlie got up early and went over to see Jimmy in his wheelchair.

Rosales had been taking care of Jimmy last night. Roderick also briefly treated his wound.

Seeing Charlie coming in, Rosales looked at him defensively, fearing that he would beat Jimmy again like

yesterday if he got angry. She asked. “What do you want?”

Charlie looked at Jimmy on the bed, and sneered, “You’re dead?”

Jimmy rose, coughed a few times, “Uncle Charlie.”

Charlie watched him and said, “So you’re not dead. What a pity.”

Over the whole night, Jimmy had quite sobered up. He had been indeed too impulsive yesterday. No matter

what, he shouldn’t have tried to escalate the issue and blow up at Theresa in that kind of situation.

He shouldn’t have done it! He had a life with an infinite future ahead. He had been choking down his anger with Charlie very well, but he hadn’t held back yesterday, much to his regret.

He said, “I was being impulsive yesterday, I hope you can forgive me this time. I have truly learned my lesson.” Charlie looked at Jimmy and uttered, “What kind of enmity is there between you and Theresa that you want to treat her like this? Huh? She married you because she owed you in her previous life or what?”

Jimmy raised his head, glanced at Charlie, and clenched his fists forcefully, “I used to treat her very well, but

she did not cherish it.”

“Oh? What else could she do to ‘cherish’ it?”

“She cheated.”

“Jimmy Watson!” Charlie looked at this man drily of course, he wouldn’t believe his words. He just had not expected that Jimmy would still try to fool him, “I think you still want to be beaten to death.”

Jimmy gazed at Charlie. “She is just a compulsive liar. What makes you think she won’t do that? Uncle Charlle, you don’t know Theresa at all.”
