Chapter 662
Rawlins said, “Mr. White couldn’t sleep well before, but since Dr. Cameron started to help him, he’s been sleeping much better. Is there anything wrong?”
“No, I’m just asking.” He had talked to Charlie yesterday and knew that Charlie seemed to be having a bad relationship with Dick lately because of this woman.
Theresa had just arrived home when the two kids came running. “Mom, what’s this?”
Theresa looked at the big box and said, “It’s a gift from Uncle Dick.”
“It’s Lego!” Ben said.
Leonard said, “I told you Uncle Dick is a good guy.”
Theresa was surprised to hear Leonard’s words.
This boy was so wary, but just because Dick helped them once, he was saying that Dick was a good guy? Just then, a familiar voice came from the side. “So, Uncle Roderick is not a good guy?”
Theresa looked up and saw Roderick standing right at the entrance.
She hadn’t expected him to be here. “What are you doing here, Dr. Hill?”
“I came here with Eugene. He has something to talk to you about and I stopped by to visit the two kids.”
Theresa said, “No wonder they look so happy today.”
She could clearly feel that Ben was in a better mood.
Roderick said, “I just talked to them. What did Charlie do to make them dislike him so much?”
Even Ben, who had liked Charlie before, started to dislike him.
Theresa calmly said, “Nothing else. It’s just that he wants to take them away.”
Roderick sighed when he heard that. “I talked to him before he came over that day, but it seemed that he didn’t listen to me. I’m wondering what he was thinking! Are you guys okay?”
“Yes.” Theresa smiled. “But I think I’m going to have a lawsuit against him after the holiday if he tries to take the
kids away. Why are those powerful people so annoying? I really don’t understand.”
She tried to take the Lego out and failed because it was too heavy. Roderick came over and took it out of the car.
Leonard looked at Roderick adoringly, thinking that he would be a strong man like Uncle Roderick.
