Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement novel Chapter 776

Chapter 776 Please Help Him to My Room!

Theresa asked Roderick, “What’s going on, Dr. Hill?”

“Charlie was drunk and said he wanted to come back to see his children, so I drove him back.” Roderick

smiled at Theresa and asked, “Is Dick here?”

Theresa was stunned. It seemed Roderick had known what had happened during the dinner.

She replied, “No.”

Roderick said, “Which room does Charlie sleep in? Let me help him go upstairs. Otherwise, you can’t

move him into the room after I leave.”

Charlie was nearly 1.9 meters tall. It was quite difficult for Theresa and Brenda to help him go upstairs.

Theresa said, “Please help him into the guest room.”

Roderick smiled. “Okay.”

However, Charlie, who was lying on the sofa, suddenly raised his head and said, “I don’t want to sleep in the guest room!”

Theresa looked at him and thought, “Is he really drunk?”

Charlie sat up and squinted at Theresa before getting to his feet. Brenda offered her arms to him

immediately, afraid that he would fall down.

Charlie walked up to Theresa, having only her in his eyes.

Theresa remained motionless and calmly looked at the drunk man. She had seen him get drunk before,

and it seemed that he had a poor memory every time he was drunk.

Charlie was quite a cold man, but when he was drunk, he was as cute as a child.

He fixed his eyes on Theresa at the moment. Because he was tall and right in front of her, Theresa felt he was blotting out some of the light.

When she was about to say something, Charlie held her in his arms.

Theresa was taken aback.

Jonathan, Roderick, and Brenda watched them silently.

Theresa only felt a headache.

Charlie was so clingy to her.

How could Theresa draw a clear line between them?

He was really so….

He knew he would become like this every time he got hammered, but he still drank.

He would become clingy as soon as Theresa appeared every he got drunk, but Theresa didn’t expect that he was still the same as before.

To avoid embarrassment, Theresa called out, “Charlie.”

“Yes?” Charlie responded in a soft voice.

Theresa had thought that she might have a quarrel with Charlie when they met again. Never did she

expect such a scene.

Theresa, who had been upset for an entire night, suddenly felt sorry for him.

“How cunning he is!” thought Theresa to herself.

She said, “All right. Time to go to bed.”
