Chapter 812 Jimmy’s Trick
A subordinate walked in and said to Leticia, “Mrs. Calsis.”
Sitting in the seat, Leticia put down the scissors gracefully and asked, “What is the matter?”
“Ms. Nandlall has been staying in the hospital.”
“The hospital?” Leticia asked curiously, “Why did she go to the hospital?”
“I heard that Jimmy had committed suicide and that all the people of the Watson family were in the hospital.”
Hearing this, Theresa paused. She looked at the informant and asked, “Is Jimmy dead?”
“No. He took an overdose of sleeping pills and slit his wrist. The people of the Watson family found him. in time and sent him to the hospital. He had his stomach pumped, and his condition was not life-threatening for the time being.”
Theresa said calmly, “It’s a pity he is alive.”
Leticia looked at her hard.
Theresa restrained her eyebrows and apologized, “I am sorry.” She shouldn’t have expressed what she thought in the first place. Theresa was not the kind of person who was kind enough to feel sorry for those whom she disliked. Considering Jimmy’s evil deeds, she would rather see him end up in misery. Seeing him reduced to such a deplorable condition, she didn’t feel guilty and was even overjoyed. She remembered the plots of TV dramas she had watched in her childhood. In the denouements, the kind-hearted heroines often forgave the villains generously. She had been as magnanimous as them before, at least before she divorced Jimmy. But afterward, the people of the Watson family had not been. satisfied and almost driven her mad. From then on, she learned that it was of no use to compromise with those despicable people who never appreciated her generosity and took it for granted.
Leticia told the subordinate, “Go to the hospital and pick Rose up.”
Hearing this, the subordinate asked, “What if she was reluctant to come back?”
