"Candice, I think you should apologize to her. Think about it. Jeffrey is a noble man. Although you may not be able to see him, he knew what you thought. Maybe you two still had a chance."

Tears welled up in Candice's eyes, and her shoulders trembled. She did know that Jeffrey was angry with her that night, and she didn't take it to heart. But what Riley said reminded her.

Just to be sure!

"I know, Riley. Thank you for your reminding. I will apologize to him. But how can I see him again?"

"Don't worry. He has an appointment tonight. I know the partner, so I told you. You have to behave well. What happen next totally depends on you!" Riley said confidently.

"Okay! I see. I will never let go of any chance ever!"

Candice said firmly. Since Riley was so kind to her, she couldn't let her down, not to mention that it was related to her future life! As long as she could talk to Jeffrey in secret, she would be satisfied even if she couldn't get him!

Inside the office.

Jeffrey rubbed his temples, pushed aside the documents in front of him, looked down at his watch, grabbed the car key and walked out.

He had planned to have dinner with Vivian tonight, but the most important thing was that he had found Adam. It was rare for him to have time to go out for fun, so he might as well ask her out to express his gratitude.

The dinner party was cancelled, but the place where they met was the biggest hotel in the H City. He spent all the time meeting him which he could use for having dinner with Vivian. Fortunately, Vivian said that she hadn't gone out yet.

When they arrived at the parking lot, Jeffrey was surprised to find that there was another person squatting next to the car. Jeffrey thought it was Vivian, so he walked up to her excitedly and wanted to pick her up. But to his surprise, the person stood up first.

"Mr. Shen..."

Jeffrey could vaguely see the outline of Candice through the light. He turned his head away in disgust and wanted to open the door to get in the car, but his hand was grabbed by her.

"Mr. Shen, I'm here for nothing but to apologize to you..." With a pitiful look, Candice squeezed out a few tears and held Jeffrey's strong arm.

Jeffrey's face darkened. Apologize? Well, it seems that she wants to be promoted?

With her beautiful eyes wide open, Candice rubbed his arm against her chest. Riley told her to seize the opportunity, but she just wanted to tempt him a bit again. Today she specially wore a low cut pink skirt.

Jeffrey pushed her away and got in the car as soon as he opened the door. He didn't want to stay here with this shameless woman any longer!

"Jeffrey! I know I was wrong last time. Please don't be angry, okay?" Candice slapped the window hard. She couldn't believe it! If he didn't let her get in the car, she must scream in the parking lot!

"Bang!" Jeffrey slammed the door and made a loud noise. The sound echoed in the empty parking lot, and the place where the light flickered was very mysterious.

Jeffrey pressed her forward step by step, and Candice stepped back step by step. She was afraid that the man in front of her would tear her apart at any time.

"Let me tell you, you will soon know that you means nothing to me!"

Jeffrey's words rendered Candice speechless.

Vivian had planned to wait for him beside Jeffrey's car, but she didn't expect to see this scene. It seemed that he had lied to her just to be with a beauty? Jeffrey, don't you even thing about a good excuse?

The next morning, everyone in the H City was talking about Candice.
