“If you’re here to deliver lunch, I’ve received it. You can leave now.” Matthew regained his composure and turned his gaze back to the computer. “I need to work.” 

Lindsey felt aggrieved by Matthew’s cold tone but knew he was a workaholic. If she disturbed him while he was working, he would be angry. Seeing this, Lindsey could only pick up her bags and leave.

“Good luck, Miss Lindsey.” Charles agreed readily, but he was a smart person. The person who paid him was Matthew. Unless he went crazy, he would not risk offending his superior and work for Lindsey. 

Besides, Matthew was not dating a woman. He got married. Even if Charles wanted to–cozy up to someone, he would cozy up to his boss’s wife.
