In the afternoon, Sofia returned to the Schneider family. As soon as she entered the door, she saw Kassidy Schneider sitting on the sofa, flipping through a picture book and doodling on it.

Seeing Sofia come in, Kassidy lifted her eyelids and said with a hint of schadenfreude, "I heard you went to the Hart family. So, how did they treat you?"

Although Kassidy was curious to see drama unfold, she still put on a polite front.

Sofia looked at her and replied calmly, "They treated me quite well."

At least, Grandpa Hart was kind to her.

Kassidy observed Sofia's expression, noticing she wasn't gloating then relieved.

She set the picture book aside and said, "Sofia, marrying into the Hart family is not a loss for you. You'll have a lot of freedom to do as you please."

Sofia stayed silent. She had long been accustomed to Kassidy's words and didn't care at all.

She simply waited quietly for Kassidy to continue. Normally, Kassidy wouldn't bother talking so much to her, so there had to be another reason today.

Sure enough, Kassidy got impatient with small talk and went straight to the point.

"Now that you're married into the Hart family, we're all family. You know Mystic Entertainment Inc., managed by Nathaniel Hart's brother Curtis Hart. They're preparing to film a movie, and there's a role that would be perfect for me, Sofia. You must talk to Curtis and get him to give me that role."

Sofia furrowed her brow slightly, shocked by Kassidy's shameless words.

She pursed her lips and after a moment replied, "Kassidy, I've only met Older Mr. Hart and Young Master Nathaniel so far. I can't guarantee I'll even get to see this Curtis you're talking about."

Even if she did meet him, she doubted she could influence his decisions.

Hearing Sofia's refusal, Kassidy immediately got angry.

"What are you saying? You haven't even married in yet, remember, I'm your elder sister. The Schneider family raised you, and now you're refusing to do such a small favor? Think about the consequences!!!"

She stood up from the sofa, dropping her gentle facade.

"I'm telling you, Sofia Schneider, you must make this happen! If you can't see Curtis, then go talk to Older Mr. Hart. I don't believe Curtis would defy his orders," Kassidy said sternly before turning and heading upstairs.

Sofia frowned, feeling helpless towards her always arrogant sister.

After lingering in the living room for a while, Sofia returned to her room.

She unpacked a worn suitcase, putting away her few belongings, and left the Schneider family.

She hadn't planned to move into the Hart family so soon, but her curiosity about the instruments in Nathaniel's room made her eager to explore.

However, knowing Nathaniel didn't like her, Sofia was cautious, so she waited until well past midnight before sneaking into Nathaniel's room.

She made no sound, even taking off her shoes to avoid waking him up.

Sofia's eyes lingered on Nathaniel's face for a while to make sure he was asleep before approaching one of the instruments.

Though the room was pitch dark, it didn't hinder her movements.
