Chapter 80 You’re Blushing 

After arriving at the pharmacy, Sofia Schneider quickly picked out the herbs she needed and hurried back to the car. 

The Hart family driver was already puzzled by Sofia’s sudden request to visit the pharmacy. Now, seeing her carrying so many bags, his curiosity only grew. 

“Sofia, what’s all this?” the driver couldn’t help but ask. 

“These are herbs to help Mr. Hart’s health,” Sofla replied honestly. 

The driver was still full of questions. 

He knew Sofia was just an ordinary doctor at Cleveland Hospital. But he didn’t pry further int 

the family’s affairs and helped Sofia load the herbs into the car before heading back. 

Sofia didn’t bother to explain much.

Her main concern right now was Nathaniel Hart’s health. 

After returning to the Hart family home, Sofia asked the driver to take the herbs to the kitchen while she went to check on Nathaniel. 

Seeing that Nathaniel was asleep in his room, she felt a bit relieved. 

He should sleep for a while now. 

Later, she would wake him up to eat something before letting him sleep again.

Older Mr. Hart was nearby, feeling deeply concerned.

Sofia didn’t linger and headed to the kitchen. 

Gregory saw her coming and immediately asked, “Sofia, what are these herbs for?” 

“They’re for Mr. Hart’s health. I’ll be using them in the soup,” Sofia explained directly. 

Gregory knew that many soups used herbs, so he had no objections. 

He just thought Sofia was quite impressive, always managing to do things others couldn’t. 

Many of the herbs she brought back were ones he didn’t even recognize. But considering Sofia was a doctor, it made sense. 

Gregory was eager to taste the soup Sofia was making with the herbs. 

Little did he know, he had already tasted this kind of soup 

before. 

Even though Sofia was pressed for time, she still meticulously handled each ingredient, making sure everything was prepared perfectly without rushing. 

Gregory watched her work with admiration and even thought about learning from her. 

Two hours later, Sofia finally finished the soup. 

She ladled a portion for Nathaniel and handed the rest to Gregory. 

Just then, Older Mr. Hart came over, drawn by the delicious aroma.. 

He had been so worried about Nathaniel that he hadn’t noticed what Sofia was doing.

Now, smelling the soup, he realized how hungry he was. 

Seeing this, Sofia quickly invited Older Mr. Hart to have dinner while she took a tray to Nathaniel’s room. 

Gregory couldn’t help but remark, “Sir, Sofia really cares about Mr. Hart. She always makes sure he eats first before having her own meal. 

“Yes, this child never complains. I feel like we’re being unfair to her,” Older Mr. Hart said emotionally. 

People always say that long–term illness reveals true character. 

Even one’s own children might not be as dedicated as Sofia. 

Older Mr. Hart was deeply moved by her devotion. 

“When Mr. Hart recovers, they should be together and start a family. That would put your mind at ease,” Gregory said. 

Older Mr. Hart had imagined that scene countless times. 

But given Nathaniel’s current health, he wasn’t sure if he would live to see that day. 

Thinking of this, Older Mr. Hart couldn’t help but sigh. 

Sofia had no idea she was being imagined as part of a future family. Her mind was entirely focused on Nathaniel. 

She opened the door and saw Nathaniel sleeping soundly. 

Honestly, she felt a bit reluctant to wake him up. 

Sofia walked over and stood by Nathaniel’s bed, leaning down to look at the dark circles under his eyes, feeling a pang of heartache.
