Chris and Frankie had doubts but dared not ask. They could only silently pray for Jeremiah, hoping Yvette would go easy on 

him. 

Bruno nodded eagerly and replied, “Sure, Yvette. Just do as you wish. It’s your call whether to imprison or release them. So…. Shall we head back? How about you and your friends stay at my place for a few days?” he asked cautiously, showing an overwhelming will to survive. 

Yvette nodded slightly, giving him a casual look. She agreed nonchalantly, “Okay.” 

Bruno signaled to his men behind him and cheerfully instructed “Let’s prepare for the return trip!” 

Frankie and Chris exchanged glances, thinking helplessly, Thanks to Yvette, we’re now becoming guests at the pirates base 

On the way back, Bruno never stopped talking to Yvette, as if he were reporting to a boss. Frankie and Chris looked at the chattering Bruno with disdain, both feeling slightly overwhelmed, thinking. This pirate is truly a chatterbox. 

Meanwhile, throughout the journey, Yvette occasionally nodded in response to Bruno’s words.

Yvette got out of the car, her long legs and exquisite profile catching the light. Her expression was cold and distant, exuding an aura that kept others at bay. 

The pirates were even more stunned when they saw Yvette’s face clearly, exclaiming inwardly, A beautiful Aplothian woman? Bruno turned to look at the stunned pirates and gave them a sharp glare. 

They immediately lowered their heads, greeting him respectfully one after another. “Chief” 

Bruno led Yvette, Frankie, and Chris into the base, and along the way, every pirate they encountered knelt to greet Bruno and bowed reverently, even the children.

Since Chris and Frankie were Yvette’s men, Bruno was very friendly toward them. It was o their conversation.

Chris and Frankie paused and looked at Bruno, who was smiling, in surprise. Their conversation had been quiet, so Bruno shouldn’t have been able to hear them from such a distance. 

Yvette stopped, turned around, and looked at the two. Raising an eyebrow, with hands in her pockets, she said leisurely, “Bruno’s hearing is teu times that of a normal person. He can hear every word you say within several feet.”

Chris and Frankie suddenly realized they had let their guard down too easily. 

Since Bruno had already heard and the topic wasn’t anything private, Frankie, being outgoing, was quite interested in knowing the reason. Hence, he asked, “Bro, then tell us, why are there such old pirates in your crew? Aren’t they less capable at that age?” 

Bruno glanced at Yvette before explaining. “My pirate crew hires these old pirates as instructors. They pass on their experience and train our newcomers. 

“Their vast knowledge significantly improves our ability to handle unexpected situations at sea. Since we hired them, my crew hasn’t had any accidents at sea for three years.” 

Bruno paused, his eyes gleaming with pride, and added, “By the way, this was Yvette’s advice four years ago.”
