Bruno said to Yvette, I’ve arranged a few activities in the second half of the party that you’ll definitely enjoy, Yvette.” 

Chris and Frankie took the seats closest to Yvette. They sensed that something was off when they heard Bruno’s words and saw his strange expression, 

Before they could think much about it, Bruno had raised his glas. The Spaunia pirates weren’t fond of red wine and preferred their locally made grape wine instead. Thus, everyone glasses were filled with grape wine. 

Chris and Frankie had always remembered Jeremiah’s worrls–to never let Yvette have even a bit of alcohol under any circumstances. Upon seeing Yvette pick up her glass, they both shouted in unison, “No, Yvette! You can’t drink!” 

Yvette’s hand that was holding the glass froze in mid–air. The neat second, she finished the drink in one gulp. At that moment, Frankie and Chris felt like it was the end of the world, with only one thing on their mind. ‘We’re doomed… Yvette drank alcohol… they thought. 

Bruno noticed their expressions and cleared his throat, assuring them, “Don’t worry. Yvette’s glass isn’t filled with wine. It’s pomegranate juice specially made for her, so she can drink it without worry.” 

Frankie and Chris, momentarily stunned, exclaimed inwardly, Holy shit! You should have mentioned it earlier! We were almost scared to death! 

Bruno would never confess to them that, once, Yvette had drunk some low–alcohol grape wine, got drunk after just one glass, and mercilessly attacked him. 

He had gone to confront Yvette afterward, covered in bruises. Alas, she only replied to him that she had forgotten about what had happened. That incident was so embarrassing that he thought his reputation would be ruined if word got out. 

Yvette gazed at Chris and Frankie with a half–smile. The crowd didn’t think much of it and continued eating and drinking. 

Halfway through, with his naturally outgoing personality, Frankie had already gotten close to Bruno and played games with him, completely getting into the vibe. 

He was worried about Jeremiah. Taking advantage of the fact that Bruno was tipsy, he asked, “Bro, where are the people you caught today? Is there a guy among them who’s not dressed very well but looks absolutely stunning?” 

At the main table, Yvette narrowed her eyes lazily upon hearing that. Chris gave Frankie a look, acknowledging that the latter was somewhat useful. 

Bruno stayed silent for a few seconds. He remembered the man he had seen in the cockpit earlier and thought he was probably the most handsome man on the ship. 

He pondered before saying, “Now that you mention it, I do remember one. We caught him today in the cockpit. Even though he was dressed like the other crew members, he was indeed very handsome. Oh, and there was another good– looking guy with him.” 

Frankie and Chris exchanged glances. They were sure that the very handsome guy Bruno was talking about was Jeremiah and the other good–looking guy was Emmett. 

Frankie snuck a glance at Yvette. Upon seeing that she had no particular reaction, he tried to press further, but Bruno’s next words nearly scared him out of his wits before he could. 

“By the way, there was an average–looking Clusian lady next to that guy. They seemed like a couple, and the lady’s eyes were filled with love when she looked at him. You Clusians call it getting all sappy,” said Bruno. 

He was telling it like a joke, not noticing that the atmosphere between them had changed. Frankie and Chris just sat there helplessly, not even daring to look at Yvette.

Bruno noticed that Chris and Frankie had stopped talking and saw the tension on their faces. He finally realized he might have said the wrong thing. “What’s the matter?” 

Only then did Frankie and Chris look up, glancing at Yvette, who was sitting at the main table. Bruno’s gaze followed theirs and landed on Yvette. 

Yvette’s expression remained as calm as ever. Her eyes were cold and her smile was frivolous, exuding a rebellious charm. She indifferently looked at the group before turning to Bruno, instructing. “Bring those two guys and the lady over.” 

It took Bruno a moment to react, and he quickly shouted to his men, “Did you hear that? Hurry up and bring over the guy we caught in the cockpit today, along with the other guy and the lady with him.” 

The pirates went upon receiving the instruction, leaving the hall completely silent. 

Bruno asked, “Yvette, that couple looks really sweet. Are they friends of yours?” 

Frankie immediately slammed the table and stood up with a grim expression. “Shut up! How can you tell if they were sweet! Are you crazy? Saying the wrong thing can be deadly, bro. You can’t say whatever you’re not sure of. Understand?” 

He blinked rapidly as he spoke, almost causing his eyes to cramp 

After seeing Frankie’s strong reaction and frantic blinking. Bruno explained earnestly. “Bro, why are you so agitated? I’m speaking the truth. That lady’s eyes were full of love when she looked at that guy. I’m sure about that.” 

Chris said firmly, “That’s absolutely impossible. You must have made a mistake.”
