Mable looked in the direction of Blair’s bedroom and did not say anything.
…
After breakfast, Mable went to Blair’s bedroom.
He had not woken up yet, so she drew a few milliliters of his blood for testing.
Blair finally woke up at 10:00 am.
As soon as he woke up, Mable helped him sit up. “How do you feel now?”
“Much better.”
Blair moved his injured arm. “The wound doesn’t hurt anymore.”
“I sealed your pain nerves, so you don’t feel pain now.”
It was not that the wound no longer hurt, but he just could not feel it.
Blair chuckled. “This is pretty good.”
“Your pain nerves can’t be sealed for long, only three days at most.”
Mable held Blair’s hand. “Blair, don’t worry. I’ll definitely save you.”
Blair touched her face. “The medical team is already working on the antidote. Don’t worry.”
Mable nodded. After a moment of hesitation, she asked, “Blair, how did you get poisoned with Vortex?”
Blair answered indifferently, “An enemy schemed against me.”
He did not want her to know he was poisoned so that he could get the Ice Jade Flower.
Mable asked as a cold look flashed across her eyes, “Have you dealt with the enemy?”
“Yep.”
Mable was relieved.
Blair felt much more relaxed now that he was temporarily free of pain. He could even get out of bed to walk around.
After lunch, Mable walked with him in the garden before she had a meeting with his medical team.
Vortex’s toxin would not decrease due to the body’s metabolism. Instead, it would be accumulated in the body.
