Sherry delivered a swift blow across his face.

The thunderous clap echoed across the corridor and could still be heard after seconds had passed.

The group of thugs was all equally dumbfounded. They were not expecting Sherry to slap the leader as well.

Both Jason and Nelson remained silent.

John was the only one smiling satisfactorily. It was only when he observed the way Sherry continued to limp that a scowl formed on his face again.

The leader of the thugs who had just been slapped by Sherry was glaring at her viciously.

This seemed to intimidate the leader at last as he impishly averted his gaze from Sherry.

Sherry interrogated him, “Who sent you here? Was it Aiden? That b*stard!”

The leader kept his lips sealed and refused to answer.

The leader was jolted by Jason’s sudden outburst but continued to hold his tongue.

Sherry scoffed with disdain, then she proceeded to raise her palms in the air.

His group of posse was terrified by the brazen woman.
