Everyone around the dance floor had their eyes glued to the scene before them.

Some people could not help but discuss what they were seeing. “Young Master Carter and Ms. Springsteen look so good together. Are they already a couple?”

“I didn’t hear anything about it, but isn’t Young Master Carter married with children?”

“He does have children, but he already divorced his wife long ago.” “But I never heard any news of him and Ms. Springsteen being together.”

“When have you seen Young Master Carter dancing with a woman at these events? There must be something going on between them even if they’re not officially together.”

The background music obscured some of their chatter, so they could not be heard unless one was listening closely. Odell was not interested in anyone’s chatter so he did not listen attentively. He simply wanted to end the dance as soon as possible.

Lily kept the corners of her mouth curved up the whole time, as she smiled at him sweetly.

For the last moment at the end of the dance, they performed a dip in which she leaned her back against Odell’s arm, with one of her legs bent.

Their perfect movements and outstanding appearances immediately sparked a round of applause.

Odell brought Lily back upright and moved to exit the dance floor.

However, just as he had brought Lily’s body upright, he found that her face was right in front of him.

Before he could react, she pecked him on the side of his

He frowned and let her go immediately.

Before his expression could change, Lily smiled and said, “Young Master Carter, thank you for dancing with me.”

Odell recalled that she had grown up overseas where kissing was normal. Therefore, he suppressed his emotions.

“There’s no need to say thank you,” he said coldly. Then, he turned and walked away from the dance floor.
