Master of his heart (Max and Brielle) novel Chapter 1547

Keiran strolled into his lounge, casually shrugging off his suit jacket. He was undeniably attractive, though a bit forgetful and not always the best at picking up on others' feelings. Still, he had plenty of good qualities.

Chase watched him for a moment, then let out a deep sigh. "Keiran, I've been hanging around you for ages, and honestly, it feels like we've lost our spark."

Keiran’s eyes flickered with confusion. Who knew friendships needed sparks? But what Chase really wanted was for Keiran to suggest something new to do together or maybe even deepen their bond.

Chase sighed again. "We're drifting apart, Keiran. Any ideas on how to spice things up?"

Keiran looked up, giving Chase a serious look before suddenly saying, "Alright, how about this?"

Chase's eyes brightened, leaning in with anticipation. "What if I play your grandpa on Monday, your dad on Tuesday, your brother on Wednesday, your grandson on Thursday, and from Friday to Sunday, we try out other roles? That way, there's always something fresh. What do you think?"

Classic Keiran, always full of surprises. Chase nearly choked on his own breath. How could someone so good-looking come up with such a silly idea?

Chase didn't respond, just moved to sit down quietly. Keiran wasn’t the type to coddle, so he focused back on his script.

Chase, restless and irritated on the couch, sent a text to Dustin. "Hey man, you’re living the dream with your kids and loving wife, while I’m over here feeling like my heart's turning to stone."

Sticking around Keiran was making him feel increasingly bleak. Dustin, caught up in wedding preparations with Emma, wasn’t paying much attention to their drama. Even Sarah and Raymond wouldn’t approve of him getting involved.

Dustin replied briefly, "Only you could put up with that guy."

Keiran seemed emotionally untouchable. Feeling deflated, Chase leaned back, his gaze lingering on Keiran before blurting out, "Keiran, let's have a kid."
