She didn't say these words, but even if she did, it would have been pointless, better to save some breath.
Pulling her hand back from the man's wrist, she turned to Ava and asked, "Ava, do you have needles? The kind used for acupuncture."
Ava's eyes lit up, showing a happy expression, "Yes! Miss Jones, do you mean it can cure?"
Deanna grunted in agreement.
Xavier was somewhat worried about her medical skills and asked suspiciously, "Miss Jones, can you really do it?"
She gave him a silent glance. This man kept doubting her again and again, really annoying.
Deanna replied impatiently, "I can. How many times do I have to say it? "
Xavier obediently kept quiet and didn't respond further.
Ava ran upstairs and returned downstairs with a needle case, densely packed with needles of various types.
"I might need some help since I can't do it alone."
Ava nodded, "Just tell me what to do." Xavier didn't question either.
"Okay, Ava, please help sterilize all the needles," Deanna turned to Xavier and said, "Xavier, please help by taking off all his clothes except his underwear."
"Huh?" Ava, who was about to sterilize the needles, looked at her in surprise and then quickly went to disinfect the needles.
Xavier didn't move, looking at her in surprise. He wondered if he should undress Mr. Mercer in front of her.
He wasn't sure if acupuncture require taking off pants and couldn't help but suspect this woman's intention.
"You don't have to undress him. Just roll up his pant legs. But if something happens to him, are you going to take responsibility?" Deanna raised an eyebrow at him, and Xavier gritted his teeth but did as he was told.
The situation was urgent, and he had no choice but to trust this woman. He hoped Mr. Mercer could survive this; otherwise, he would never forgive himself.
