Was it really that easy?
Mr. Mercer was so seriously ill. Could acupuncture really save him?
Hearing Deanna's confident words, Xavier and Ava felt skeptical, but they could only wait in agony.
Xavier wanted to call the hospital several times to contact the doctor directly. He was really worried that something might happen to Mr. Mercer.
He wondered if she was reliable or not.
Unlike their nervousness, Deanna relaxed completely.
It wasn't until then that she began to observe the man in the bed.
The man was extraordinarily handsome, his face pale but with delicate features.
Although she couldn't see his figure clearly, she could tell his muscles were well-defined, beautifully distributed on his slender and robust body, with perfect lines that were irresistibly attractive.
'He's so handsome, like God's masterpiece,' she thought.
Just a glance made Deanna's heart flutter, she silently reminded herself not to stare rudely, turned her gaze away, and stood next to Ava waiting.
Xavier looked at his watch. "Ten minutes have passed."
Deanna stepped forward to remove the needles from him one by one, in order, with a slow and steady pace.
As the last needle left his body, the man on the bed's long eyelashes trembled, and his hand moved slightly.
