After leaving the hospital, Lyman drove all the way to Ji Group.
The Ji Group's building was the tallest in the prime location of D City.
This building was the place everyone admired the most. "Mr. Huangfu."
After receiving Lyman's phone call, Dillon went downstairs to pick him up.
"So, how's your boss doing?"
Lyman casually asked as they were walking inside.
"He is currently busy with his work," Dillon replied. "I'm sure you know that if someone disturbs him while he's working, his mood will turn foul."
Frowning,
Lyman complained, "What a workaholic! All he does is work in the company all day long. He doesn't even know Bennie running away from school."
"What did you say?"
Upon hearing this, Dillon was mortified. "Bennie has run away?"
"Hey, don't get so worked up yet. Let me finish," Lyman said while waving his hand. "I was talking about what happened yesterday." At this point, Dillon felt even more puzzled.
With one hand in his pocket, Lyman swaggered into the president's elevator, which was exclusive to Zack.
"What happened yesterday? Sir, can you please clarify what you mean?"
Dillon asked while following him.
"Yesterday, he sneaked into the film and television base,
Lyman answered after pressing one of the buttons in the elevator. "Perhaps Zack isn't even aware that Bennie skipped classes."
Dillon was rendered speechless.
He had a bad feeling about this.
Sure enough, Lyman continued, "I'm not sure what the little one did in the set, but Zack suddenly withdrew his investment from my company yesterday. I must ask him to clarify this matter!"
Lyman wasn't aware of the whole story, so he wanted to hear it from Zack himself. Dillon was wondering if he should tell him the truth.
Soon, the elevator arrived at the top floor where the CEO's office was located.
Before he could take another step, Dillon halted him, and kindly reminded, "Sir, I implore you to let me speak to Mr. Ji first.
If Mr. Ji is in a bad mood, I'm afraid you will get hurt further."
Perhaps you're right. Nodding in agreement, Lyman patted Dillon's shoulder. "Bro, my life is in your hands. Remember to tell Zack that I'm just here to visit him. I'm not looking to get even with him."
"Understood, sir."
Afterwards, Dillon knocked on the door and went in. Inside the spacious office, Zack was sitting at his desk. "Sir, Lyman is here to see you,"
Dillon said respectfully. "He wants to know why you withdrew your investment, and he knows that Bennie went to the film and television base yesterday.
I'm not sure if he knows about Mrs. Ji though."
Without raising his head, Zack ordered, "Tell him to come in."
"As you wish sir."
Dillon stepped out of the office once more.
"Sir, Mr. Ji has told me that you can come in."
Before he came in, Lyman vigilantly asked, "How is his mood?"
"Well..." After pondering for a moment, Dillon answered, "He's relatively calm, I suppose."
"Fair enough."
Without hesitation, Lyman nodded and knocked on the door.
He didn't open the door until Zack gave him permission.
'Zack,1 Lyman greeted Zack politely as soon as he entered the room.
