The phone slipped from Selena's hand as she stood up, her mind in a fog, and hurried out the door.

Alex quickly caught on, worried she might trip or hurt herself. He scooped up the phone, grabbed her coat, and rushed after her.

Helping Selena inside, Alex guided her to the VIP room just as Callum stepped out.

Callum understood her without words, meeting her hopeful gaze with a gentle smile. "I just checked on him. He has a strong will to wake up, just like you said. He's fighting to come back to you and... the baby."

His eyes flicked to Selena's rounded belly.

Selena was surprised. "You knew?"

Callum chuckled softly. "Selena, do you think I don't know you well enough by now? If you could truly move on, you wouldn't still be hung up on that guy."

At this, Selena couldn't help but smile.
