Diana sat back in the car silently.
She unlocked her mobile and saw a text from Rachel.
“How did it go? That old hag troubled you?”
Diana replied smiley, “I’m fine, I will spill the bean when I’m home.”
Inside the Powell villa, Madame Powell couldn’t control her tempered and smashed an expensive cup on the floor.
A smashing sound filled the living hall in an instant.
“Listen, listen! How rude could she be! She repeated my words to my face! I’m her senior! Her senior! How dare she spoke to me like that?”
Madame Powell had never been bullied or humiliated this way since she stepped foot into the Powell family.
She breathed rapidly, anger had taken over her elegance and manners.
“Bring my mobile over, I need to tell Brooklyn what happened! What kind of assistant did he hire huh? A woman that seduces someone else’s fiancé and is rude to me! What a brat!”
The housekeeper sent someone to clean up the broken pieces while saying, “Madame, it is better not to disturb young master now. Anna helped with the collaboration with Hillvie, I guess he is satisfied with her, furthermore, you’ve just argued with young master not long ago…”
Madame Powell thought for a while. Yes, her relation with Brooklyn was always at the edge, it would be adding oil into the fire if she called now!
Not only would she failed to fire Anna, but would make Brooklyn angry too.
…
“Really? Hahaha, I’ve lost word to describe that old lady, an elderly but being calculative with a young lady, it’s so funny.” Rachel calmed down after laughing, “But Diana, as I see, she will create more trouble for you from now on. Perhaps not openly but she might play dirty tricks.”
Diana put her mobile next to her ears and replied lazily, “I’m not intend to marry her son, what she could do to me? I just want to make Brooklyn call off the wedding with Mirabelle, I am not interested in him…”
Rachel turned serious, “Don’t take it too lightly, women with authority within the wealthy circle are not kind, you’ve provoked her today, so you need to be extra careful in the future.”
Diana was silent for a moment and agreed with Rachel.
A few minutes later, she smiled, “Rachel, don’t worry too much about this. You said Madame Powell and Brooklyn’s relation is not good, right?”
“Indeed. Perhaps you don’t know much about what’s going on in China, but it was rumored that Brooklyn didn’t even attend Madame Powell’s birthday, they are not close. Why? Do you plan to take advantage of this? It’s not that easy.”
Diana replied lightly with “Hmm”.
Rachel was right. If Madame Powell wanted to get rid of her, it was hard for her to fight back.
The best way is to send a warning to Madame Powell.
But she couldn’t tell Brooklyn directly, they were nothing but colleagues.
There were some thoughts in Diana’s mind and she caught a direction that she could try tomorrow.
Diana drove to Powell Group like usual the next day.
The finance department’s head had just sent over the agreement detailing the commission from Hillvie Group for using her perfume. The total amount she could get was pretty satisfying even after deducting the commission for the Powell Group.
Diana smiled at the department’s head, took over the agreement and walked towards the CEO office.
