Lin Wen Xin patiently replied to each of his questions with no sign of anger.

However, she was just a little confused at how talkative he is today. He usually would show her his cold and indifferent attitude, and would not even want to communicate with her.

Wang Shen Ze snorted coldly and walked to the rear of his car.

Lin Wen Xin did not know what he was doing and so she walked hesitantly towards his direction as well.

She then saw Wang Shen Ze putting down several beautifully wrapped large boxes on the walking pavement, beside the area where the car is parked at.

“These are...” Lin Wen Xin looked at the boxes lying on the ground and turned to ask Wang Shen Ze.

“Betrothal gifts. My grandmother asked me to bring them here.”

Wang Shen Ze paused as he looked at her with a glint in his eye.

He then continued to say, “Go ahead and bring them in. My job is done here.”

Wang Shen Ze smirked as he returned to the car and sped off.

The marriage game has just started and this is just a prelude to her upcoming tough life of becoming a “Mrs Wang”.

Since it was already late, Lin Gao Hai and her servants at home have already rested for the night.

Lin Wen Xin struggled as she carried the boxes into her house, one at a time.

The boxes were very bulky as it contained expensive food and herbs, as well as gold and exquisite jewellery.

Just at the junction of the road ahead, one has to really squint their eyes to see that there is a car parked there.

Wang Shen Ze sat in the car as he secretly observed Lin Wen Xin carrying those boxes all by herself.
