Mr. Right, Spoil Me novel Chapter 135

Emily came too suddenly and she was at a loss of what to do. At that moment, Andrew had already gone for a meeting and only the two of them remained. It was truly awkward.

“That’s true, just sitting here without talking was rather weird.” Emily also agreed and was calm and modest. She smiled elegantly.

But she didn’t seem to raise a topic for discussion.

Sarah felt that the atmosphere was uncomfortable. She pursed her lips and clenched her teeth and bit on her lower lip.

“I have an issue that I don’t understand, Emily, how do you know that I’m pregnant?”

Sarah’s expression was pleasant and was her usual tone of voice. There was no indication of curiosity or if anything was out of place.

Perhaps, this was just a normal question.

“This… since Andrew knew, you should be able to guess it.”

Emily replied.

On hearing this, Sarah was stunned and her eyes deepened, it was a dead end.

The two back and forth talking about meaningless subjects awkwardly. Then something Emily said which was out of place and shattered the moment.

“After saying all these, let’s get back to something serious. I’m actually here today to inform you of something.”

Emily said as she looked at Sarah seriously but was suppressing the intensity. Regarding all these, she said clearly in her words, “Do you know? I once was carrying Andrew’s child.”

Her heart was like being smashed with a ton of bricks.

It was like an atomic bomb, piercing through her chest with blood spattering all over but it was thick black blood covering her hands.

Sarah looked at her in disbelief that she would say this directly to her.

How could she not know these?

And she, she must also know that Sarah knew this. Her voice was perplexed and revealed some hopelessness and extreme sorrow, “I know, the child was conceived in a strange combination of circumstances. But which woman wouldn’t love her own child? I knew that he came at the wrong time and was a worry. But I never knew that he would come so quickly and leave equally fast.”

It was as if her heart was ripped off. All her breath was being prevented by an invisible hand. She couldn’t breathe.

“Sarah, do you know? When the child was lost, I almost went mad. I was thinking how can I be such a failure. I don’t even know that I was pregnant! The child was my flesh and blood and was Andrew’s also. How can I lose him just like that?”

Emily started to become worked up and her sorrows and pain can be seen on her face. Her eyes turned red.

“When the doctor told me that I had a miscarriage and I may never be pregnant again, I almost lost it. Do you know how painful a woman feels when she loses the ability to do what she desired the most?”

Sarah sat quietly beside her and listened to her outpouring of emotions. She maintained her composure and remained calm as she listened.

“I know.” She spoke. The naturally crimson lips smirked slightly, “Yes, that kind of pain Andrew will never know and he blames it all on me, making me the murderer. If it hadn’t been for him being drunk, there wouldn’t be that incident a year ago. But I can’t hate him because he treats me very well. He was so good to me that I thought that he wouldn’t mind about my defect, but I was wrong. It never will be the same. At least on the matter of bearing a child, it has separated us forever.”

No man will love a barren woman.

Another way to put it was a man loved a woman just for bearing him children…
