Andrew’s grandfather sensed the situation was not quite right. How could Andrew protect Sarah? Shouldn’t he be very disgusted based on what happened before?
He didn’t really care how Andrew treated Sarah, he shouldn’t be protecting her like that just now!
A sense of bad feeling surged his heart, the old man threw away the stick in his hand angrily.
Andrew found out the woman was wide awake, sitting on the bed with a blank expression and looking at the curtain when he returned to the room.
She had the quilt covered everything below her eyes. He assumed she must be sitting with her knees around her arms, otherwise it wouldn’t be so steady.
Her long hair was scattered, her face was white and palm-sized.
“You’re up?”
His actions were not affected at all. He opened and closed the door.
He raised his eyebrows slightly and looked at her. The corners of his eyes curled up.
Sarah looked at him in silent. Suddenly, she ran out of bed, as if she saw something horrifying. She rushed to him and hugged him tight.
The woman was in a white nightdress and barefoot. She spread out her arms around him chasing him. Her head was close to his chest.
Andrew was astonished. His heart dropped the moment she ran to him.
He didn’t expect her to be so warm.
Although the friction caused by being held tight by her from behind made him uncomfortable, the smell on her body calmed him down.
She always smelled like a faint fragrance of coldness.
He rubbed her head. Sarah didn’t act like a 21-year-old woman. On contrary, she behaved like a high school student, with a dull look.
“Why don’t you get more sleep?”
He caresses her head.
Sarah pressed her head on his chest and answered him after hearing what he said, “I don’t feel like sleeping. I had a dream about babies.”
Andrew felt fine when he heard the former part of her line. But his emotion changed suddenly when he heard the latter part.
Regardless of the pain, he raised his arms with cold sweat oozing out, he put his hands on her shoulders, “We can try to move on. Maybe we can have another baby in the future?”
Sarah looked at him and shook her head in denial, “No, I don’t want to have another baby. I don’t want to have babies anymore.”
As if there was something programmed in her eyes, she looked at him with an extraordinarily stubborn look.
Andrew looked at her eyes carefully, but there was nothing unusual.
She jumped off bed barefoot again as he looked at her. He frowned and hugged her. There were countless pains entangled at that moment. Without a word said and flaw left behind, “Remember to wear some shoes. By the way, don’t go anywhere in the next month.”
“Why?”
Sarah looked at him in confusion and clearly, she didn’t want to comply with this rule.
“Be a good girl.”
Andrew didn’t tell her the reason.
He reconsidered and said, “Mrs. Bask, let’s go to European Scenery Residences tomorrow.” He thought staying here at Bask's villa was worrying to him.
European Scenery Residences…
Sarah suddenly realized something, shook her head and said, “No, I am not going.”
She bit her lips, showed a sense of struggling.
“Why?”
Andrew still had fears for his grandfather, so he didn’t want Sarah to stay at Bask’s villa. He couldn’t afford to imagine what would grandpa do to her if he wasn’t around.
“I am not going, Andrew. I don’t want to go there.”
He could hear the grievance in her voice.
He couldn’t understand why she refused to go. But he still had to respect her opinion.
“What if we change a place?”
Sarah looked at him.
