Vienlock Toxin was a truly cruel poison.
It left the victim conscious and forced them to slowly experience their demise. It was a fate far crueler than an instant death.
“It’s a rare poison crafted by the Five Venoms Sect. It’s seldom used. It has only been used twice in history,” Dustin said in a calm but sharp voice.
“The Five Venoms Sect?” Gasps filled the room as faces paled.
“But didn’t they get wiped out years ago?”
Once a notorious cult of evil, the Five Venoms Sect had been eradicated by the Martial League.
Gareth furrowed his brow skeptically. He looked visibly unconvinced.
“The Five Venoms Sect has been gone for decades. You can say whatever you like. If you’re so capable, then save Mr. McCall first. Words mean nothing.”
“Mr. Dox, please,” Allison said pleadingly. Her voice cracked in desperation. Her tear-filled eyes searched for hope. “Save my grandfather… I’ll do anything you want!”
Dustin cast a scornful glance at Gareth before stepping toward the bed.
With a flick of his wrist, Dustin brought out three pills.
“The first pill will cleanse the blood!” he declared as he fed the first pill to the patient. Then, Dustin touched Jonathan’s forehead to take his temperature.
“The second pill will revitalize the organs!” He fed the second pill to the patient and checked his heartbeat.
The fluidity of Dustin’s technique left the room spellbound. Physicians who had dismissed him as a charlatan moments ago watched in hushed awe.
Could this unassuming young man truly hold such mastery?
No one noticed Gareth’s face hardened as his earlier smirk vanished.
His eyes bulged and fixed on Dustin’s every move.
Dustin held the final pill aloft. “The third pill will awaken him from his unconscious state!”
Then, he fed Jonathan the last pill.
The pills seemed to have activated a mysterious energy within Jonathan. A low and resonating hum filled the air. It was coming from Jonathan’s body.
Suddenly, he convulsed violently.
“Ugh—”
A guttural sound escaped Jonathan’s lips as he coughed up a foul, tar-like blood that sizzled.
The acrid stench turned heads, but the message was clear: the poison was being purged.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
