Outside Grayvale, in the West Mountains area, was the domain of the Lotus Sect.
At the entrance, Elijah was being carried into the Lotus Sect by a few of its members.
“Get Mr. Lowe to treat my injuries!” Elijah shouted and clutched his chest.
After just one shout, pain shot through his chest, and blood trickled down from the corner of his mouth.
He had forced himself to act okay in the restaurant to avoid losing respect, but as soon as he left, his injuries worsened.
He did not dare to wait any longer and ordered to be taken to the Lotus Sect.
The Grand Elder of Lotus Sect, Jason Lowe, was known for his medical skills, and he could treat Elijah.
Elijah was quickly taken to the Lotus Sect’s medical room, where the Grand Elder arrived to treat him late at night.
“Mr. Elijah, who did this to you? How could anyone in Grayvale hurt you so badly?” Jason asked in shock after examining his injuries.
Jason explained to Dustin that two of his ribs were broken, and there were various other injuries.
Logically, Elijah, with all the strength and technique of a Martial Saint, could walk through Grayvale without fear. It was unimaginable that someone could hurt him so severely.
“Enough with the questions! Just treat me!” Elijah’s eyes flashed with hatred, but his voice trembled.
It infuriated him that he was defeated by Dustin’s subordinate.
He could not defeat Dustin. He had been publicly beaten by someone who had lost to him before. He was furious and felt utterly humiliated.
At the same time, he could not help but feel a surge of anticipation for the martial arts competition.
The Dragon Supreme, Joseph, had said he would recruit disciples from the competition and offered the entry token to the Martial Haven as a reward. Every young martial artist would be eager for such an opportunity.
Elijah was no different.
While he did not care much for martial arts itself, he craved power. He wanted the kind of power that would place him above everyone else and command respect and awe.
Standing at the peak of the martial arts world, with the status and power that came with it, was his ultimate goal.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
