Robert’s tone was nonchalant.
He was not being dismissive. Rather he was confident of his invincibility.
Years of grueling training in the snowy mountains had honed his abilities to the Advanced Martial Saint level which was enough for him to overwhelm any prodigies of his generation.
“Your abilities are indeed impressive, but don’t let overconfidence blind you,” Lord Barbenheim said in warning. “Remember, there’s always someone stronger. The surviving descendant of the Fox family is also far more powerful than his peers. He will be your greatest opponent if he joins the competition.”
Robert merely chuckled in response.
“The Fox family? Why does that matter? The Fox family of old may have had some strength, but didn’t you crush them with a wave of your hand?
“Even if this mere surviving descendant of theirs has mastered their martial arts techniques, he holds no threat. Besides, anything he knows, I know as well. In fact, I’ve perfected the Fox family techniques far beyond what he could ever achieve!”
In the shadows, Dustin’s face darkened in anger.
He was now certain that Lord Barbenheim had played a significant role in the Fox family massacre over two decades ago.
Moreover, he had gained access to parts of their martial arts techniques…
Robert had clearly benefited from the stolen Fox family techniques...
“You are never to mention that you’ve cultivated the Fox family martial arts techniques to outsiders!” Lord Barbenheim barked.
Robert nodded.
“Escort James out,” Lord Barbenheim said.
“Thank you, Your Highness,” James said and bowed deeply to both Lord Barbenheim and the Divine Hall’s Martial King before following Robert out.
Dustin’s face darkened as he disappeared from the treetops.
Once the others left, Lord Barbenheim and the Divine Hall’s Martial King exchanged knowing glances. In a flash, the Divine Hall’s Martial King flew out from the courtyard.
James continued to flatter Robert on their way out. He was desperate to get on his good side.
Robert was unimpressed. He maintained a cold expression and urged him to hurry up.
After leaving the Barbenheim Institution, they got into a car that sped off toward its destination.
Robert had been tasked with escorting James to the airport, where he would board a flight back to Central Harbor.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
