His legs were not the only things affected. He could not move his entire body.
“How is this possible?” Robert was shocked, and fear showed on his face.
He did not know what Dustin did, but he had actually managed to make him freeze.
He did not know that Dustin had actually pierced some points of his body with needles to paralyze him. That was why he could not move.
“Mr. Stilles!” Robert shouted at the most critical moment and hoped Ruben would save him.
“I won’t let you do whatever you want, you arrogant brat!” Ruben moved quickly, but he was still one step too late.
Knowing that he would not be able to make it, he shouted. His pure energy turned into an arrow that charged toward Dustin with the force of lightning.
It was the manifestation of pure energy from a powerful Martial King.
Since it was such a short distance, the arrow would definitely be able to reach its target before Dustin killed Robert.
The attack seemed like an effective deterrent. Dustin pulled his hand back and avoided the arrow.
When he saw that he had managed to prevent Dustin from killing Robert, Ruben smiled.
“You want to kill someone before me? Hah! It won’t be that easy!” He sneered.
Dustin was not standing too far away and looked at him with a teasing smile.
“Why are you smiling? Aren’t you going to continue with your attack?” Ruben felt displeased for some reason.
Dustin shook his head.
“I’ve already achieved my goal,” he said flatly.
“Hah! What nonsense! His Highness is still fine,” said Ruben with a sneer before he looked at Robert.
He froze.
Robert stood with a dull look on his face. He showed no reaction to his surroundings, as if he was just an empty shell.
“Your Highness!”
Ruben’s heart sank, and he cried out, but Robert did not respond.
Thud!
His body fell on the floor.
“What?!” Ruben was so shocked that his eyes flew wide open.
Robert was dead?
What exactly was Dustin? A monster?
He was a mere mortal, but he was so fast that the snipers could not see him.
The entire area fell silent. The atmosphere was gloomy.
“I told you before. If I want to kill someone, not even God can protect them,” said Dustin as he stared at Ruben.
Ruben’s face darkened even further.
“You lost, so you should fulfill your end of the bet and answer my questions,” Dustin said indifferently.
Ruben stared fixedly at him. His gaze was murderous.
“I’m going to kill you!” he spat out coldly, and his pure energy boiled within him.
He was burning with rage, so how could he possibly fulfill his end of the bet?
Boom!
Ruben charged at Dustin to kill him.
“Save your questions for your family in hell!”

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
