“What gives him the right?”
Elijah glared daggers at Dustin. His gaze was filled with envy.
No one in the same generation as him was able to speak to one of the Five Supremes as equals, except Dustin.
That did a lot for his reputation.
“Dragon Supreme, could I ask how you know this man?” Lord Barbenheim’s expression was tight as he asked inquisitively.
The way Joseph treated Dustin as an equal had stunned him.
Could Dustin be hiding his identity that put him in the same class as Joseph?
If that were true, why was Lord Barbenheim still pursuing the matter of Dustin’s arrogance? He would have to apologize to Dustin instead.
However, Lord Barbenheim did not believe that this was the case.
Dustin was too young. Even if he was accomplished, his achievements had a limit. There was no way that he could reach the heights of the Five Supremes.
“I had an instant connection with Dustin. That’s why I consider him an equal,” Joseph said with a smile.
When they heard this, everyone in the nervous crowd let out relieved sighs.
Things were as they had guessed. Thus, they all relaxed.
However, it seemed that Joseph really liked Dustin. This was not a good thing, either.
If Dustin got Joseph to help him settle this score, no one here would be able to handle it.
Dustin felt a wave of displeasure at Joseph’s smile.
What was this about an instant connection and considering him an equal?
It was generous of Dustin that he was not rejecting this random connection with Joseph.
“You sure are gusty for trying to get him to bow to you, Lord Barbenheim!” Joseph said frostily and changed the subject.
“Do you really want someone I see as an equal to bow to you? Should I do so as well?”
Feeling reprimanded, Lord Barbenheim barely dared to breathe. He could only duck his head and suffer the scolding.
Everyone was silent around them.
Only someone as powerful as Joseph would dare to lecture Lord Barbenheim in public. That was simply how important the Five Supremes were.
After telling Lord Barbenheim off, Joseph waved a hand to dismiss him.
“Please have a seat, Dragon Supreme!” One of the higher-ups walked up to Joseph and bowed.
Joseph nodded.
“Come, friend, let’s take a seat,” Joseph said to Dustin.
Dustin did not turn the offer down. He left his seat, where the view was awful.
Everyone in the Lotus Sect scowled. As angry as they were, they did not dare to speak up.
Only a while before, they were putting up a huge fuss about capturing Dustin.
Yet, Dustin was currently sitting in one of the special seats they had prepared for Joseph. Not even their leader had the right to sit down yet. He could only remain ready in the back.
Even Lord Barbenheim was lower to them when it came to influence. He was a less important figure.
“You should both go back,” Dustin said to Madison and Allison, who were stunned in place.
The two women exchange a look. After a moment, they went back to their places.
“Allison, come sit up here,” Joseph said.
“Yes, Great Grandpapa.” Allison bowed stiffly to Joseph and went to sit beside him.
It was easy to see that she was not very close to this powerful relative of hers. In fact, they were very unfamiliar with each other.
Seeing these people seated, everyone in the audience reacted with confusion. However, no one dared to say anything.
After all, these people were simply too powerful. Not everyone could be friendly with Joseph.
“Please have some tea.” The leader of the Lotus Sect personally brought out a tea tray and served Joseph and Dustin.
Dustin took a sip and frowned.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
