Someone like Cabot did not actually need to fight during the preliminary stage. He could simply stand there as no one with a working brain cell would attack him.

Yet, Cabot did not look like he wanted to wait until he got into the next round.
He made a move, and pure energy gathered around him as he walked toward Tyler.
His posture said it all: He wanted to fight it out with Tyler.
Nearly everyone in the audience looked over at them.
Elijah and Timothy beamed.
If Cabot defeated Tyler during the preliminary round and the latter lost, they would be overjoyed.
“Cabot had broken through to the Martial Saint level two years ago. The Roan family has strong foundations, and their ultimate technique is said to be very powerful. Tyler’s really unlucky.” Henry and the others looked worried.
No one thought Tyler had any chance of winning.
That was because it had only been a few days since Tyler broke through to the Martial Saint level. Besides, the Thornton family might be a respectable one in Central Harbor, but it was not a match for the Roan family of Averwood.
“This is interesting, Dustin. It seems like the person you trained will be leaving the competition early,” Joseph said teasingly.
Dustin was unaffected and did not answer.
On the platform, Cabot glared at Tyler with a confident smirk on his face.
“The surviving descendant of the Fox family is quite powerful. I heard that the bygone Fox family’s ultimate techniques are exceedingly mighty. My teacher can’t stop singing his praises. I’ve always wanted to watch him fight. It’s a shame that he’s not participating,” Cabot said absentmindedly.
“I heard that he trained you. If I defeat you, it will mean I fought him indirectly.”
Tyler was silent. He raised one finger toward Cabot.
“What does that mean?”
“One move,” Tyler spat.
“Master taught me a set of fighting moves. I only need one of them to defeat you.”
Cabot’s face turned frosty and dark.
He never expected that a quiet person like Tyler would be so arrogant.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
