He exuded a commanding presence without even trying as if he was born to stand above everyone else.
When his cold gaze landed on Lord Barbenheim, it made him freeze in fear.
At that moment, Lord Barbenheim did not care about anything else. Using all his strength, he fell out of his wheelchair and knelt before the young man.
“I, Titus Williams, also known as Lord Barbenheim, report to Your Majesty!” he shouted respectfully.
He was the king. He was the most powerful person in Lovellia.
Back in Grayvale, Lord Barbenheim had not cared much about the authority of the Golden Hall in Central Harbor since he was far away.
A few years ago, when the new king took the throne, many lords plotted against him. They pretended to obey him but secretly defied his rule.
But this king was not one to be underestimated. In just a few years, he had crushed the rebellions and brought peace to Lovellia.
“Lord Barbenheim, what is it that you need from me?” the young king asked calmly from his throne.
“Your Majesty, I’m willing to give up my military power and everything my family owns to you. Please save me!” Lord Barbenheim shouted and knelt on the ground.
“Who have you provoked?” The king raised an eyebrow and looked intrigued.
“This man is brazen and evil!” Lord Barbenheim said angrily. “He has killed several powerful families, the General of the West, and even the top Mystic Agent of the Outlaws Department! He should’ve been killed a long time ago!
“And now, he has attacked the Barbenheim Institution, wiped out five thousand soldiers of my personal army, and plans to destroy the entire place!”
Just as Lord Barbenheim finished speaking, footsteps echoed. Dustin and Tyler entered the vault.
“Your Majesty, it’s him! Dustin Fox, the surviving descendant of the Fox family!” Lord Barbenheim turned and shouted as he pointed at Dustin. “He deserves to be torn apart, so the souls of his victims can rest in peace!”
The king looked up and fixed his gaze on Dustin.
Dustin met his stare, and their eyes locked in silent confrontation.
Lord Barbenheim stood up with menace in his gaze.
He was willing to give up everything just to see Dustin dead!
The King of Lovellia, the most powerful man in the kingdom, surely had the power to punish Dustin.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
