“What did you say? How could you say a thing like that?” Monique demanded angrily.
“Archer, no matter what, I’m still your elder. Can’t you speak more politely?” said David because he could not hold back his frustration.
“Polite?” Archer sneered coldly as his face filled with contempt and disdain.
“You people who split from the family are nothing but parasites of the Langley family. Every time you come, it’s either for money or something else. Look at what you’ve made of yourselvesF!! in the poor and desolate West! You’ve brought shame to the Langley family! And you are asking me to be polite to you?
“Ha! Do you think you deserve that? If it weren’t for the elders of the family and their orders, do you think you’d be qualified enough for me to personally come and pick you up?”
Archer stood tall and afforded no respect for David’s family in the slightest. His words were harsh and insulting.
“People from the branch family like you only deserve to stay here. You’re not worthy of meeting the Langley family’s distinguished guests. Stay put and wait. If you don’t behave, you won’t even get a penny!”
David’s family trembled in anger.
When they had been kicked out from Hattan, they settled in Rivenesco in the west. During the division of the family, there were some crises, so they had no choice but to send someone to request the main family’s help.
The main Langley family owed them that much in the first place.
Besides, this time they were not here to ask for money, yet they had to endure such humiliation.
Archer threw forty dollars at them as if he were tossing some funds in a charity donation to beggars.
“Four rooms. Each of you can have one!” he said and sneered. “I still have dinner and a movie date with my babe. I have got no time to entertain you.”
With that, he turned and opened the car door as he prepared to leave.
“Stop!” Simone could not bear it anymore and shouted angrily.
“You must apologize to my father and my mother!” she demanded.
“Apologize?” Archer shot her a mocking glance. “Are you out of your mind? What kind of status do you have? Do I need to lower myself that way?
“I don’t have time to waste with you. Get lost!” Archer said and tried to shove Simone aside.
Just as his hand was about to touch her, Dustin stepped forward and grabbed his wrist.
Archer was furious and tried to shake his hand off but found that Dustin’s grip was like a vice that was impossible to break free.
“Let go! Who do you think you are?” he shouted in rage.
“I’m her fiance and soon-to-be Langley family’s son-in-law,” Dustin said casually.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
