“What’s wrong? Mr. Leach, do you recognize this item?” The guests crowded around.
“This... It’s identical! But... it shouldn’t be here!” Brandson Leach inspected the bead over and over. His expression shifted between shock and disbelief.
The members of the Yeager family were visibly unsettled.
Even Zack stepped forward.
“Mr. Leach, have you seen this before? Do you know its origin?” Zack asked.
“I just returned from Summerdale, where I attended a major auction a few days ago,” Brandson said. “It was quite the event. Many powerful figures from top-tier families were present…”
Everyone perked up and hung on his every word.
“The centerpiece of the auction was a small bead. It was said to be over 2000 years old. It once belonged to an emperor known as the First Emperor!
“Legend has it that the emperor carried the bead with him throughout his life. He was never sick, possessed divine strength, and could slay enemies effortlessly. Even when mortally wounded, he miraculously survived, thanks to that very bead.”
“That’s outrageous!” the crowd exclaimed as if it was all a myth.
“The bead was the highlight of the auction. It sparked fierce competition among top-tier families and even led to verbal altercations right on the auction floor...”
The guests were stunned. How valuable must that bead be to cause such chaos?
“The bead from that auction is identical to this one!” Brandson declared solemnly.
The crowd’s expressions changed dramatically.
The looks they shot toward the bead in Dustin’s hand were no longer the same.
Could it really be that bead?
“Impossible! Absolutely impossible!” Kendall exclaimed in disbelief.
“I agree,” Damien added.
“Even if the bead were real, how could it end up here? The big shots fought over it a few days ago in Summerdale. Wouldn’t it have been acquired by one of those powerful families?
“Also, how could such a priceless bead end up in his hands? There’s no way someone like him could afford it...”
“Mr. Kendall has a point.” The guests nodded in agreement.
It made no sense.
“Exactly!” Brandson nodded in agreement. “That bead was eventually purchased by Stanley Kennedy, the head of the powerful Kennedy family, for 150 million dollars. That was after calling in many favors from other elite families. It’s worth far more than just 80 million.”
“So… this must be a fake!” Kendall declared loudly.
The crowd smirked in disdain.
Who would dare pass off a fake as something this legendary?

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
