He turned down the olive branch the Yeager family extended to him.
Zack’s face darkened once again.
Warren and Percy glared at Dustin.
They did not bother to lower themselves. They believed that offering him and Patricia some form of acceptance was a grand act of the Yeager family’s generosity. Yet he had the audacity not to reject it?
Damien and Alex smiled faintly.
Patricia let out a soft sigh.
She had wanted to return to the Yeager family. When Zack made the offer, she had wished Dustin would agree. Unfortunately, he refused.
But she did not blame Dustin. After all, receiving so much unfairness naturally left some resentment in him.
Dustin returned to the banquet while Zack addressed the guests. He told them to enjoy themselves. However, his face remained icy.
“Hey there, young man. I’m the head of Aurora Enterprises. It’s an honor to meet you. Cheers…”
“Young man, that bead of yours is quite remarkable. Are you interested in similar items?”
As soon as Dustin returned, a swarm of guests surrounded him.
They were all smiles and eager to form connections with him.
No one dared to look down on him anymore.
Calling him a good-for-nothing? That was utter nonsense.
What just happened was proof of his terrifying abilities. Many suspected that Dustin had a powerful and mysterious background.
Ordinary people could not just waltz up to the head of a top-tier family.
No one had spared Dustin a second glance when he entered the banquet. He was nothing but a laughingstock. Yet, his status had flipped entirely. He was the one they all wanted to curry favor with.
Members of prominent families in Hattan treated Dustin with eagerness. He had suddenly become the center of attention and the star of the banquet.
The Yeager family? They had been relegated to the sidelines.
Zack and his relatives stood around awkwardly. Their faces could not have darkened further.
There was one person in particular who was seething.
“That useless mutt actually managed to turn things around…” Kendall stood in a corner with a cold glaze and crushed the wine glass in his hand.
He could not accept it.
The fool he used to bully at will, the one who used to tremble just seeing him, had suddenly transformed into someone revered by the most powerful families.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
