Bailey's pov
The game was going on and the cheers around me never ceased. Kaleb's team had the upper hand and I did believe they would win.
As he promised earlier, he scored many goals and made sure to look at me in the stands when he did. I hope no one noticed because he was very sleek about it.
I'd shy away and look somewhere else when he did and never failed to notice the smirk he sent my way.
Juliet's words affected me but it is not in the way you think. Kaleb lied to me and that was what ticked me off.
I couldn't trust him.
As the game continued on, it was even more clear that we would win so when we did it was no surprise.
This time I did stand up, clapping and smiling as they lifted Kaleb up in the air and cheered. Even though I was mad at him, I wasn't bitchy enough to not celebrate his win.
Somehow through the crowd and everyone cheering, his eyes connected with mine. He grinned hugely, winking.
" Did my brother just wink at you?" Mira gasped beside me. A lump grows in my throat as I shook my head quickly.
" No. Of course not. He winked at this girl." I pointed to the girl in front of me who was shouting and jumping happily.
Mira looked convinced and rolled her eyes, turning to Juliet. " I guess my brother is still back to his old ways after all." she mocked Juliet whose face reddened.
I smirked knowing fully well that Kaleb winked at me and not that girl. And I bet Juliet knew that too.

" Yes Mr. Grey, I promise there will be no drinking and she will be home by ten." Mira paced in front of me with my phone clutched to her ear. A little part of me wished that dad told her no. I didn't want to go to a party that Kaleb would be in.
Not after he lied to me.
But when I saw Mira's wide smile I knew dad had agreed. Katrina nudged my hand with her elbow and I looked at her. She smiled playfully and and nudged her chin over to the school entrance.
I was confused at first until I saw Kaleb and his friends emerging out of the building, laughing loud and playfully pushing at each other.
I cleared my throat and shifted on my foot when they draw closer.
" Thank you Mr. Grey." Mira chirped and ends the call, passing the phone over to me with a huge grin on her face. She was happy that my dad agreed to make me go.
" Looks like we're going to party tonight," She winked.
A few feet away, leaning against Kaleb's car is Juliet who had not stopped sending me daggers with her eyes. To others it was not that noticeable but I knew when someone wanted to kill me with their eyes.
I nod, sliding the phone into my bag and keeping my gaze down when Kaleb and his friends reach us.
