My Bestfriend's Brother Shouldn't Know How I Taste free chapter novel Chapter 9

Bailey kicked off her heels, ruffled her long curled inky locks and strolled over to Kaleb's bed.

She hadn't bothered putting on the lights because that would only add to the migraine lurking behind her lids.

The moon gave a little light in the room anyway so she could spot the bed. Barely but she wasn't blind to not see the shape of it in the dark.

When she plopped on the bed and shifted closer to the headboard she thought of the many girls who have been on there.

Bailey got disgusted and contemplated if to leave the room.

But it's the only empty room in the house....

She made a promise to herself that she'll bathe first thing in the morning.

Curling up in Kaleb's covers, Bailey rolls on her back and looked at the dark ceiling. The booming of the walls disturbed her peace and quiet but at least up here it wasn't as loud as it was downstairs.

Her eyes fluttered close and she didn't know how long she'd been resting on the bed until the door swung open and someone stumbled in.

Her eyes snapped open quickly, widening in alarm.

She should've locked the door, how could she have forgotten to?

Bailey stayed silent and prayed that the person who entered would go back out.

But no such luck. When she heard the lock on the door, a chill run down her spine.

She played dead but her eyes were wide open in alert. If anything she'd try to jump out the window if she can't make it to the door in time. She thought as her mind raced with thoughts of fear.

And then.

Bang.

"Fuck!" Kaleb hissed as he tumbles to the floor, hard.

"Who the fuck put those damn heels here?!" He growled and Bailey heard her poor heels smack on the wall.

Did he really fling my heels!? She thought as she glared at where she thought he had fallen.

At least it was Kaleb in the room and not some pervert who followed her here.

She sighed in relief but stayed quiet to see what he'd do or say. He hadn't put the light on and by the sound of his stumbling feet, Bailey knew he was drunk.

Maybe if she stayed quiet he'd not know she was here. She surely didn't feel like arguing with him right now and they never missed a chance to argue.

If he caught her in his room he'd irritate her to death about it.

Bailey stayed mute and watch his silhouette in the dark stumble to his feet.

She didn't want to move off the bed because it would make noise and he'd hear.

So she stay frozen on the bed and waited with battered breath to see what he'd do next.

She prayed he'd just come for some hidden liquor or condoms or something and leave.

But when she saw his figure approaching the bed she gulped and closed her eyes.

Please don't come here. Please don't-

Bailey let out a gasp of breath when a sudden weight falls on top of her.

"What the fuck?" Kaleb slurred in confusion.

His weighed pushed her down into the mattress and Bailey groaned. "Off. Off." She wheezed.

Kaleb rolled behind her but one of his legs stay between her thighs.

"Who the fuck?" Kaleb slurred in confusion, his hot breath fanning against her cheek.

Bailey was too busy hauling air into her lungs to care to answer him.

He nearly squished her to death!

_

*Minutes before*

Kaleb downed another gulp of liquor. He wasn't drinking beer anymore, no, he sort out for something stronger after that little banter with Bailey.

She fucking walked away after he saved her from a guy who leered at her like she was a piece of meat.
