"My mom told me to-" Liam stopped short when he saw me, only in a robe. I hadn't bothered to put on my clothes in the bathroom because the floor was wet and I didn't care to slip and fall and smash open my skull.
"Uh, sorry. I was just going to er, put on my clothes in my room." Liam's eyes were a goldish color and his eyes were literally glowing. It looked like he almost stopped breathing as his eyes looked over my body. I was sure he knew I had nothing underneath the robe and that made me want to pop my neck off my body.
"Sorry. Just got distracted." Liam finally tore his eyes away from me, and looked at the wall. His cheeks were pink. "My mom wanted you to come down for dinner." He said, as he looked into my eyes. His were their original color.
"Okay." I nodded and Liam left the room. Leaving me alone so I could die in my embarrassment.
"You're here!" Sarah exclaimed and gave me warm smile as soon as I stepped inside the kitchen. A apron was wrapped around her waist and she was taking something from out of the oven. She set it down on the counter and I realised that they were cupcakes. She left them on a rack to cool and turned her attention to me.
"I hope you're hungry because I didn't cook this much for you to not eat!" Sarah said. Now that she said it, I could feel a familiar sensation rising in the pit of my stomach. Hunger.
