"What the fuck do you want Jack?", was the first thing I spat on my so called, bitch of an ex.
He rubbed his neck with his hand and fixed his hair. "OK. I deserved that."
I rolled my eyes. "Trust me, if Spencer was here you would've gotten hell. She's been wanting to meet you. And she's been training too."
"I didn't come here to argue with you Emerald." A part of me feels so God damn good hearing him call my name. I want to strangle that part of me. And through it in a ditch.
"Then what did you come for?", I challenge him.
" I want to talk to you."
"What?"
"I want to talk to you", he tries again raising his voice up a notch.
"What?", I say pretending not to hear him.
"I want to talk to you-"
"I heard you the first two times dumbass", I snort.
His face flushes. "Stop playing so hard to get."
"What happened to Lia?", I ask referring to the girl I caught him cheating on you with.
"She found someone else", he said looking pained.
"Must've been hard for you."
"Look Emerald", he says his face all serious, "I made a stupid decision. I can't begin to tell you how stupid I feel for letting you go."
"You never let me go. I was never in your hands."
"Can we talk somewhere else private?", he asks.
"No can do my guy", I say walking off. He grabs my hand, pulling my hand.
