Chapter 70 : Don't Be So Innocent

"It's been almost ten minutes since Micaela went out to answer the phone, why hasn't she come back yet?"

"What is she talking about for so long?"

Carlos began to turn his attention to this case often.

A while later, he got up and left to look for her personally.

In the hallway there was no one, nor the figure of Micaela.

At the end there was a window, to the left of which there was a turn, where the bathroom was.

Carlos felt like going to the washroom first to look for her, but just then a waitress came pushing a cart from the direction of the elevator.

Carlos stopped her and described Micaela's height and appearance.

The woman looked at the tall, handsome man in front of her whose heart was pounding. When Carlos finished speaking, the waitress pointed to the elevator and said:

At most she should be downstairs.
