My Dear Mr. Nice novel Chapter 86

Chapter 86 : Micaela, I regret it very much

I didn't expect the interior to be so opulent that it was like a palace.

The entire room was as large and spacious as an outdoor area, with a large, exquisite chandelier, two stories high, illuminating every corner of the room.

On both sides were dozens of meters of buffet tables, covered with rose gold tablecloths and filled with exquisite delicacies and pastries, with glasses stacked like mountains....

Soft music played. The women wore evening gowns with exquisite make-up; the men were dressed in suits and looked like gentlemen. Uniformed waiters were coming in and out of the crowd....

This was a high society party.....

She looked down at herself, who was wearing a very simple professional dress, because she didn't want to wear a skirt. Her hair was also casually tied in a ponytail. Compared to these well-dressed beauties, she was simply dowdy!

Luckily, no one was paying attention to her!

She walked to the side to reduce her presence - now she was regretting that she hadn't been stupid enough to come!

It suddenly occurred to her, could it be that Carlos had come here?

"It can't be. If he's already arrived, the waiter's heard about it - she didn't come in so easily!"

"I have to look for Adriana and Aunt Marta to ask for clarification and leave soon."

After making up her mind, Micaela looked around for Adriana's figure....

I saw her already, with a backless blue dress and a tall glass in her hand, talking to a man in a suit, who said something and made her laugh....

She was about to step forward when a man grabbed her arm.

Surprised, she turned around hurriedly and saw that the person was Marcos.

He felt surprise and joy at seeing Micaela.

Only then did Micaela realize that it was her car that Adriana had just driven up.

Surprise turned to indifference:

-Let go of me!

"Do you hate me that much already?"

She tugged Micaela and took a big step toward a quieter place.

Since she was in the audience, Micaela had to whisper:

-Marcos, what are you doing! Let go of me!

Marcos took her to the corner window, where no one was paying attention to her.

Micaela tried to take his hand away, but instead he hugged her.

-Micaela, please, let me hug you. I miss you so much...

Her voice was low, apparently with a choked sob....

Micaela was stunned and stopped there.

Marcos was crying?

She didn't push him away, making Marcos even more emotional, but she didn't dare to make any more movement, enjoying the fragrance of his body and saying:

-I'm sorry, it's my fault?

He insisted on going to that neighborhood to look for her, but he couldn't even enter because of the tight security!

Then, he bribed a resident to successfully enter, but he could not find her. Later, the worker told him that she had moved out....

She was struggling, and he was worried it would make her more upset, so he had to let her go.

Micaela took a few steps back, keeping her distance from him, and her eyes were indeed slightly reddened.

-Micaela, can you give me another chance?

-Marcos, calm down. We broke up!
