My Ex-husband Begs Me Back (Ayan and Camille) novel Chapter 1065

Chapter 1065: Hatred

"Alright, I'm sure I can do it," Ayan responded in a low voice. He held Camille's hand, kissed it gently, and then said, "Remember what I told you last night. After work, go home with Sienna. If I can't make it back in time, have the driver pick you up. The driver is always available when I'm not in Hance City. Got it?"

Camille nodded and replied with a simple "Got it."

As a married couple, they constantly reminded each other of various matters, giving the impression that they were going to be apart for an extended period.

Kian, who was still in the early stages of a romantic relationship, suddenly felt a sense of loss. After all, his dear girlfriend had not yet woken up!

Sensing Kian's despondency, Camille couldn't help but ask, "Does Yessica know you're going on a business trip?"

Kian nodded and said, "I told her as soon as I found out."

Camille continued, "Has she messaged you to wish you a safe journey yet?"

Kian replied, "She's probably still asleep. She'll message me once she's up."

Ayan, on the other hand, made a soft disapproving noise, implying that he was enjoying this scene and that he couldn't resist making fun of Kian. Ayan then took another playful jab at Kian, saying, "I suppose this is because you're not married yet. If you were married, she'd definitely be very concerned about you. She'd get up early just to personally drop you off at the airport. It's a privilege of the married."

Ayan's words left Kian at a loss for words. What could he possibly say in response to that?

Camille, who was watching Kian's helpless expression, couldn't help but add, "Mr. Simpson, have you forgotten that we're currently..."

Ayan cut her off, saying, "This is probably a better time for you to stay silent. After all, I'm going on a business trip for two days, and I don't want to spend those two days in a bad mood, do you?"

He directly interrupted Camille, fixing her with a deep, unwavering gaze. The intensity of his gaze left Camille with nothing more to say, and she simply chuckled.

Kian, who was also present, joined in the silent laughter, but quickly composed himself when he saw Ayan approaching.

They arrived at the airport without any issues. Ayan didn't ask Camille to get out of the car, saying, "You can go back with the driver directly. I'll go in and board the flight on my own. It'll be easier this way, right?"

Camille nodded, not insisting otherwise. She reminded him, "Remember what I said. Make sure to eat on time. Your health is not just your own; it's also for your family. You understand?"

Ayan nodded, assuring her, "Don't worry, I know."

With Kian dispatched to handle the check-in procedures, and the driver having left the car, Ayan and Camille were alone in the vehicle. Ayan gently lifted Camille's chin, lowered his head, and kissed her lips.

The kiss conveyed his reluctance to part. It lasted for almost half a minute before he pulled away, his tender gaze fixed on the woman before him. His voice was low and husky as he said, "Remember to think of me, okay?"

Camille, her lips lightly pressed together, felt the warmth and lingering sensation of his kiss. She softly nodded in agreement, accepting his request.

Ayan got out of the car and added one more instruction: "Call me as soon as you get home every day."

Camille, showing signs of impatience, responded, "Got it, now hurry inside!"

Ayan had made her cheeks blush with his previous actions, and she was anticipating a potentially awkward ride back to the office with just the driver.

Noticing her impatience, Ayan couldn't help but smile. He whispered some safety instructions to the driver and the reminder to pick up Camille before heading into the airport terminal.

Camille sat in the car, watching Ayan as he entered the terminal. She didn't take her eyes off him until he disappeared from sight. Only then did the driver get back into the car and asked, "Mrs. Simpson, should I take you directly to the office now?"

Camille nodded, replying, "Yes, take me to the office."

"Of course," the driver said with a nod and then added, "Mrs. Simpson, it's still early. It will be a while before we reach your office. You can rest for a while."
