Chapter 114 Dissatisfied with Him
Lucas came out of the room wearily after nearly two hours. In order to get Estie to give him a little response, he had tried every trick in the book but to no avail. “How is it?” Byron asked nervously.
Lucas shook his head. “Estie has completely closed herself off and is unwilling to communicate with others. She‘s resistant to me as well. It‘s probably because of a major trigger. We might be able to remedy the situation if we find the source of the trigger.”
Byron‘s expression hardened. Lucas did not notice his buddy‘s awkward reaction and asked him seriously, “Has Estie encountered anything that changed her mood recently?” The scene of the little girl talking because of Rosalie in the morning was deep in Byron‘s mind. There was only one obvious answer to this.
Byron paused for a moment, then recalled what happened in the morning.
Hearing that the woman could actually make Little Estie‘s emotions turbulent, Lucas could not help being surprised. Then, he said, “Perhaps, that woman is the root cause. If she can come over, Estie‘s situation might change for the better.”
Let the woman appear in front of Estie. Byron thought of how Rosalie had left in the morning and frowned a little irritably. “I see. I‘ll talk to her and try to get her to come over.”
Lucas nodded.
Rosalie knew nothing about Estie‘s situation. After leaving the kindergarten, she could not calm down. Byron‘s explanation stayed with her for a long time.
In retrospect, the man‘s tone and expression did not seem to be fake at all.
However, reason told her that this matter must have something to do with Byron.
Even until she got home, Rosalie‘s mood was foul as ever, but she was worried that the two little boys would figure it out. Hence, she tried her best to calm down.
