Chapter 44 I‘ll Marry Him When I Grow Up
The two of them chatted briefly, but as it was late, Mary then said her goodbyes and left.
The two little ones followed Rosalie around the room like they were her tails. After cleaning up a bit, Rosalie then had the time to turn around and care for them. “Did you guys have fun at kindergarten today? Did you guys get into trouble with the other children?”
The two little ones carefully recalled their time and nodded hard. “It was quite pleasant. When school was over today, the children stuffed us with a lot of snacks!” Hearing this, Rosalie could not help laughing. “Are you two so popular?” Nox nodded solemnly. He looked at Lucian beside him and said, “There was a girl today who said that she wants to marry Lucian when she grows up!”
“Really?” Rosalie looked at her son with amusement.
Lucian was stunned for a moment before he glanced at his brother, ears slightly red. “There was one, but I didn‘t promise her.”
Nox pinched his ears and made a face at him. Seeing the little ones messing around, Rosalie‘s face was filled with smiles. Although it was already late, the two still spent some time pestering her and talking about the interesting things that happened at kindergarten. Most of the time, it was Nox who said a bunch of stuff while Lucian summarized it. Rosalie also listened to them carefully and laughed loudly from time to time because of how cute they were.
It was already close to 10 o‘clock when they realized.
