D's PoV

It's Saturday morning. I woke up all tangled with my sexy hubby. He is still sleeping? What time is it now? This room has no clock. I'm actually sleeping on his chest with my hands around his torso. His hands one under my head and one on my waist. Our legs are tangled like noodles. I like this intimate morning thingy between us. He has no problem touching me and kissing me and sleeping all tangled with me.

I mean if he is still in love with Smirthi, he can’t do this to me with that playful, enjoying smile and winning smirk. Can he? I honestly think yesterday was the last episode of SMIRTHI. Now I just have to make my hubby realize his feelings for me.

I untangled myself without waking him up. He is already in shock with my kiss. I don’t want him to feel all shy in the morning too. He needs time, remember?

New day, New me! We went on with our regular routine. At 11 o'clock Subramanian uncle and Shakshi came in. 

Why the hell are all the girls associated with him beautiful? I mean she is just the very desirable height to my hubby. They look so good together. God! She is hugging him. 

"Do you smell something burning, anni?" Ravi asked me in my ears. 

If looks can kill, he would be dead by now! 

"I can see smoke coming out of your ears anni!" he laughed.

"If you don’t shut up now, I will kill you for sure." I warned him.

He zipped his mouth literally. He is a drama queen. Now she is coming to me. I don’t like people looking down at me. I know I'm a little short. She smiles warmly at me. 

"Hi! Welcome home. Guess your journey was less tiresome." I told her.

"Hi Danya! Thank you for asking. The journey was nice. You look so little and beautiful. How old are you actually?"

"um... Thank you! I'm 21yrs old!"

"But you look like a school kid. How are you managing my giant athaan(aunt’s son)!?"

Seriously!? She winked at me. Gosh! I'm turning all hot and I know I will look like a ripe tomato now. She started laughing and pinched my cheeks.

"Awwww so cute!" she said as if I were a little kid. She is nice to me. She shouldn't be a problem. 

Stupid D! Let's get her age to be on a safer side. She sure doesn’t look older than Rishi. 

But if at all her age is 27 or more then we have no worries. She is beautiful D. What if she tries your hubby too? 

But if she is of that age she must be married by now! No? 

Get her goddamn age, Idiot D! She asked you. Nothing wrong in asking back.

"Umm.. How old are you?"

"I don’t like your hubby to such an extent that I will fight with you for him. You don’t have to worry about me. Though, if I were present at your wedding, it would definitely be me instead of you. Lucky me." she slumped her shoulders.

Oops! Did she hear Mindy? I should tell her to shut up at times like this. How the hell does everyone find out what I'm up to?

I smiled sheepishly at her. She just gave me a hug and we all continued to have lunch along with our formal talks. My stupid hubby is all friendly and nice to her. He behaves like a jerk to only me.

That's a good sign D. Anger can only be shown to someone who is close to our heart.

This means you are close to Rishi's heart.

You are so confusing, Mindy. Sometimes you talk like I should not have married him. Sometimes you talk all positively. You are nuts, Mindy. All this I'm facing is because of you.

After lunch, Subramani uncle and my uncle retired to sleep and Ravi went out. Shakshi and Rishi were talking in the hall and I didn't know what to do. So, I went to do our laundry. Yeah! I do our laundry regularly now and that jerk didn’t even know that. 

When I climbed the guava tree for some fruits, I saw my hubby coming out and he sat down inspecting something on the ground. What is he doing? As far as I know, it should be a septic tank. Because when I run on the cement floor, it sounds hollow underneath. I sat comfortably on the branch and started watching him.
