D's PoV

I don’t understand what is happening? Why is Anna so anxious!? Why are my beloved sisters angry with me?

"Hey what happened, de?" I asked Shanu.

She gave me a hard slap on my shoulder.

"Aahhhh! Why did you hit me buffalo?"

"I should have not stopped with a slap. I should kill you. Where the hell did you go? We all were so scared. Idiot. You have no common sense. How many times do we have to call you? What happened to your damn phone?" she started yelling at me when everyone just looked at us.

"Um... My phone is switched off. Hehe it has no charge."

"You scared us, Danya. God, Where were you?" Dakshu hugged me from the side. Anna is still hugging me. I can feel his heart race.

I felt so stupid now. I troubled everyone. I should have attended the calls and let them know I’m alright. 

Pch! How did Anna know about this? So that is why he called me? Shanu is surely going to kill me. If looks can kill, I would be dead by now.

"Anna, Dakshu, Please, I'm alright. Anna, I'm so sorry. Please anna. Anni please tell him. Dakshu, god, leave me. I just went for a walk. I met Dhiwakar on the way. We went for lunch together. My phone switched off. This is what happened." I told them that I am perfectly alright.

"You went for lunch? Hey Dakshu, Look at her. What did you say and what is she telling now?" Shanu asked.

"Hey I promise you. Many in the office saw her running out crying." Dakshu held her hands on her throat/

"OMG, Anni. You are impossible. If you hadn't come by now, we planned to go to the police!" Ravi literally laughed.

Anna is calm now. Uncle is still sitting without any expressions. I feel all guilty. As everyone say, I'm a stupid.

"Uncle, I'm so sorry! I didn’t know that this would go this far. I really didn’t intend to make you all scared. I just went out to get myself composed. I'm totally alright. I will make it up to you. I will not cheat you today in ludo. You can cut my coins. I will play honestly today. Please uncle!" 

He smiled at me. He caressed my head lovingly. 

"You can apply for a divorce, kanna. I'm so sorry for what you are going through." He had tears ready to drop from his eyes. He can't say this. I got angry. He can't feel bad for whatever his stupid son is doing. He should not be sad. 

"Uncle, Whatever is happening is between me and my husband. I know how to manage my life. Anna, I know you are aware of what's going on now. It's for you too. It's my problem. I know how to make my life happy. I just need your love and support. Not your advice."

My anna just patted my shoulder. I think I settled everyone. 

Oops, Dhiwakar is still here watching everything. He should have not witnessed these. I should have sent him away.

"Come in, Dhiwakar. It's just a family drama. I will make coffee for you all."

Shanu came with me inside to make coffee.

"Hey wait. What the hell are you thinking? What is with this Smirthi? What are you planning?"

"I have no plans, Shanu. But I think she has something that makes my hubby to be with her. If it's not his baby, I'm sure I can win him over!"

"His baby? What the hell?"

"Pch! Don't get shocked by everything I say. I will let you know when I need help. Now help me make coffee."

Dhiwakar rubbed circles on my wife's shoulders. She smiled at him and said, "Thank you for the wonderful lunch and the drop. I enjoyed your company too. Will surely reach you if I need something. Will see you later, Dhiwakar!"

He nodded his head at me and went. She went with him for lunch and I'm all scared looking for her like a lunatic. But here she is, had a good lunch and came home with that son of a bitch. I hate his looks on her. He is not right. I should tell her not to trust him.

I spoke to Aakash. He talked to me like nothing had happened at Karthik's office. I felt comfortable talking to him like that. After a while they all left except for Shanu. She said she will stay the night. Danya’s look on her sister says it all. Danya is afraid of Shanu. 

"No no! Anna, take her too!" Danya said.

"kanna what is this? Shanvi is like my daughter too. She can stay here for any long as she wishes to. You have to be welcoming. Shanvi, you stay dear!" My dad said.Shanu smirked at Danya. These sisters. They are a handful. I wonder how my aunt(D's mom) managed these three girls this long.

Aakash, his wife Charu, and Daksha went. Shanu went in and sat on the sofa. Danya is fuming. 

"You will never win in ludo against me. I thought we would play Business today. But no." She said to my dad.

No one has ever talked to my dad like this. He was a tough and strict man. But look at him now. He smiles at her.

"Haa that's not happening. You said you will play honestly today." he played along with her.

"Pch! That came in a flow. You made her stay. She is staying to scold and fight with me, uncle." she whined.

"Why would she do that?" he asked.

She looked at me. "um... Because I went to lunch with Dhiwakar without telling any of you!"

Did she really go out with him or met him accidentally? If it is the former, then she deserves anything that Shanu is going to give her. But I knew it was the latter.
